Halloween Costumes

It’s my favorite time of the year, Halloween! Ever since I was a kid, I’ve loved getting dressed up and enjoying the perks of free candy. This year was my first year having to come up with a costume without my parents money backing it up so my goal was cheap. I spent $2.88 on my costumes. Yup, that’s right, I had 2 costumes. On Friday night my friends and I went to a school dance dressed as Garden Gnomes. On Saturday night we dressed as Beanie Babies (and a Lisa Frank character). I spent 2 dollars on my Blues Clues hat and 88 cents on the red poster board to make our gnome hats. We pulled our outfits together out of clothes we already had. Yes, I brought clogs and a bundle of brightly colored tights to college. I’m a Swede at heart. It just goes to show that you can dress up on a budget!

After the party on Saturday we went ‘Deering’. Which is where Hannah stands in front of cars like a deer caught in the headlights. Do not try at home. Ow! My leg just fell completely asleep! Ahhh! #beingonacomputertoolong

Love,

Lady Lena
