‘ello Mate!
Yesterday marked the first official day of spring so how did I celebrate it? By jumping on trampolines indoors of course! Actually that was for my friend’s birthday and it was a bad idea on my part. Stomach aches + Stomach churning inducing machines (trampolines) = bad birthday party. I should have thrown a ‘hey you’re 19! let’s pretend we’re in the 90s and watch old saved by the bell episodes and eat push pops and pizza lunchables’ type party. Then again, 90s sugary food can’t be much worse than jumping around. And that folks is why you don’t eat at the Cannon center. So that covers the spring section of this title. On to the snow.
Yes I was raised in Utah. Yes I love the snow. Yes I may have secretly ran outside and danced on my deck in the mini blizzard. It may be my last Utah snow for 18 months, let me enjoy it.
Now, why am I accomplished? Well for starters my visa papers are in, I got my suitcases at an insanely discounted rate (that’s the Kohl’s way), and I only have 3 more weeks of classes. I went home for the weekend to see my best friend Amanda who goes to BYU-I, and my friend Madeline who just came home from her mission in Chile. Clearly, we’ve got a lot to talk about! I was also looking forward to seeing my family and going to the temple with my twin sisters who recently turned 12. Turns out they fled to St. George for their spring break. Thanks Mom, Tristan, Sammy, and Kirsten for the invite! It’s fine though because I am grateful for this last snow. If I tell myself that then the pain doesn’t hurt as much. My brother, Billy, and dad stayed home at least. I was actually, for once in my life, excited to spend time with Billy helping him work on his mission papers. I was having a blast filling out medical records and Billy started cooking. I was thrilled until he said “so…some of my friends are coming over soon. It’s like a date so I’m going to need you to leave.” Oh. Now my geeky little brother doesn’t even want to chill with me. It’s fine though because my boyfriend came over to play video games and eat cheap pizza I have to finish a 10 page paper. Because I am accomplished.
I’m hoping that Billy gets his papers in the beginning of April so I can be here when he gets his call. My grandparents just got called to the Czech mission which means we are mission neighbors and even share a temple! That means I will have one set of grandparents in Sweden, one in the Czech Republic, and one in Germany. I will be surrounded! Perhaps Billy will get called to Denmark and be my other mission neighbor. Or perhaps he will get called to Australia so we can be as far away as possible. But chances are we won’t be so lucky. Hahah.
I thought I’d share some photos of when I went to Germany 6 years ago. That seems crazy that it was only 6 years ago because it feels like yesterday! I picture where I will be in 6 years from today and that’s even crazier! Here we go, trip down memory lane!

Ok so technically this one is in Chicago. We went there before Germany. I just love food so thought this should be included.
LOVE this post. ps Germany looks like a Monet painting.
Aww, thanks! It totally does!
Was it after this trip that the famous “IKEA” fight of 2007 took place?? 😉
Your outfit is phenomenal.
Also, lets figure out what that animal is. I must know
